Soft Late Spring Rain

Once again, soft steady rain for days with hours of warm sun and blue skies.  The orchard grass is over four feet now; it will get mowed soon.  The meadowlarks should be leaving their nests by next week, and I'm so happy the wild cats haven't found the little ones this year.
